After the loss of a parent of one of our colleagues, we finally understood the importance of preserving family heritage - whether it would be to heal for future grief, tracing family roots or to simply celebrate families' traditions and history - every family has their share of stories. Passing down values and traditions are priceless and they help keep family foundations strong. We realized that we didn't want anyone else to miss
out on the opportunity to document their history while they still can.
My father was in the Vietnam war and now that he has early onset of Alzheimers, preserving his stories for my children and their future children are very important for me.
My parents came to Canada at different times and from different countries, only to end up living in the same apartment building. That's not even how they met!
